LM Week in Review

HARRISBURG, PA — This year's Penn Atlantic Nursery Trade Show (PANTS) expects to welcome more than 11,000 visitors to its 350,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space and 1,200 vendor booths at the Atlantic City Convention Center, July 25-27.

This is the event's first year in Atlantic City, and the organizers say there will be a new and refreshing look and more networking opportunities at the Sheraton Atlantic City Hotel which will host the conference.

Attendees and exhibitors will have the chance to visit PANTS Town Square, which will be the home to the Pennsylvania Landscape & Nursery Association (PLNA) under a giant gazebo and perfectly landscaped island. PLNA will be adding an educational program schedule beginning on Monday, July 24 (all-day) to PANTS with world-famous speakers and hot topic seminars designed to increase garden center and landscape contracting sales and profitability

The first annual Penn Atlantic Golf Classic, a golf tournament on Monday, July 24, will be at Harbor Pines Golf Club to support the PLNA Foundation and the New Jersey Nursery & Landscape Association Education Foundation. Check out all the special events planned for the show.

The PLNA represents Pennsylvania's $5.6 billion ornamental horticulture industry. Founded in 1904, its 750 members include production nurseries, garden centers, landscape designers, landscape maintenance firms, arborists, interiorscape firms, florists and other private sector companies in Pennsylvania's rapidly growing Green Industry.
